Ulf Larsen has close to 20 years experience working within international organisations. Originally from Norway he has lived and worked in much of Europe and for a period in East Africa; working for US and UK blue chip organisations as well as in the charity sector.
Ulf now offers consulting and coaching services to senior individuals, teams and organisations - and is particularly focused on behavioural change that results in clear performance improvement.
In addition to the UK, where he has been based since 1998, Ulf currently focuses his business development efforts on the Nordic, Benelux and Central & Eastern European market.

Over the past 10 years, Ulf has assumed increasingly more senior HR roles within the Drinks/Consumer, Telecommunications and Insurance industries. Most recently Ulf was HR Director EMEA for Marsh (part of Marsh & McLennan), the world’s leading insurance broker and risk management company. He was a board member of Marsh Ltd.
Between 2000 and 2005, Ulf held the Director of OD/Leadership Development and HR Director roles at Telewest, as the company went through a dramatic transformation of the business. Prior to Telewest, Ulf held HR management roles in Allied Domecq’s OD function and in the European business.

Ulf’s earlier career was in Purchasing as a Manager at Procter & Gamble’s European centre in Brussels in the early 90s, after which he persued a business education in Norway. He also earned a MBA at Heriott Watt in Edinburgh. During the mid-90s Ulf spent 4 years in East Africa in management roles for the world’s largest independent children’s charity - SOS Children’s Villages. He remains involved with the charity and has a passion for working with the non-governmental sector.

Throughout his career Ulf's focus has been on working on change programmes and in particular with individuals and teams in preparing for and coping with change. He has designed, delivered and managed Leadership Development programmes for small teams as well as large organisations. He has extensive experience in coaching senior executives within organisations; and has facilitated countless interventions helping organisations to achieve better results.

Ulf is a member of the Institute of Directors (London, UK) and a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF). He is a NLP-certified Coach and accredited in the use of Hogan Development Survey (HDS), Momentum CPI, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
